A Bloomin' Good Time

When Sarah first approached me suggesting a floral arranging party I was flattered and elated by the opportunity to craft an experience for her and her loved ones, and together we decided for two floral workshops sandwiched between a spot of high tea and Pimms. On the day guests arrived to an outdoor workshop with a floral arranging kit and native posie at each place setting, and together we walked through the series of industry techniques used to design and make a flower crown. Following lunch, attendees were given free range at the flower station with the purpose of creating their own bespoke arrangement in a vessel they'd brought from home to eliminate as much waste as possible. I offered extra tips and ideas when attendees felt stuck with their design, but overall this gave attendees the to flex their own design eye and creativity as no two bouquets were the same. A huge thank you to Sarah for the creative freedom in pulling this workshop together, and Aim Aris who photographed the experience so beautifully.
